I can't wait. Tomorrow is Friday and that means I get to test my ankle. Tomorrow I will try just walking a mile or so. If all seems good, then Saturday morning I am going for a run. I'll make sure to take my phone just in case. I don't want to get injured on the trail and then not have a way to call someone to come get me.

ReplyDeleteIf they didn't already provide you with one, I'd recommend an Ace-type brace. I had a weak ankle some years ago, and the brace helped both to keep it from flexing too far, and also from swelling while out and about. It's not one of the fancy onces with springs on the side. It's just a pice of tougher (less stretchy) Ace-wrap type material that looks like a low-cut sock with the front half cut off and a gap for your heel. It's something to consider, at least.
